Vandalism seems to be putting it lightly, huh? More like destruction of 6 years’ worth of wine. At any rate, a 39 year old ex-employee, Andrea Di Gisi, of the winery has been charged with “sabotage.” Seems it was not mafia related, but more an act of revenge of some kind because, get this – he was mad at the winemaker for giving another employee better lodging. I guess that solves whether or not the mafia was involved, as was previously thought.
